When i restart my notebook it says operating system not found, physical memory dump error.

I would try to boot it up in Safe Mode by continuously pressing F8 on your keyboard while the computer is starting to boot up. Than while it is in Safe Mode I would use System Restore to restore the Operating Sysyem to a earlier time before the Hard Drive became corrupted.

Physical memory dump

Hmm... Well a Bluescreen is when your computer crashes, and (as you have found out) preforms a physical memory dump. This can be caused by multiple things. Such as bad drivers, PFN(page frame number) or problems with your memory. When a bluescreen event occurs, the is a technical information which has an error code that can be used to help find the problem. In order to fix this problem, you may have to remove any software, or hardware that you have recently installed. To uninstall software, you may need to boot in safe mode, which is where your computer starts up using the minimal amount of drivers needed, in order to try to prevent the computer from crashing.

Dell Dimension 4600 Blue Screen

Usually this blue screen appears due a hardware issue or drivers conflict.

1) Try to boot in safe mode (hit F8 after starting up) and select "Safe mode"

If you don't get access try doing this:

2) Run the OS CD and use the option Recover Console (R)
This will fix the problem.

3) If the problem continues, you will need to install the OS again.
