Savin 4035Esp - Functional Problem Message with Code SC863

Our Savin 4035Esp Copy/Scanner/Printer needed toner. We replaced the toner, it seemed like it was fool proof. We turned unit back on, it detected a paper jam. We couldn't find the paper jam. We rebooted the unit and now we are getting "Funciontal Problem - Functional Probelm with the machine. Turn main power switch off then on. SC863." We turned the system off and found the paper jam and cleared it by turning the green knobs, we didn't need any force or tools. We rebooted the machine and get the same message. We turned the machine off and unplugged it and still get the same message when we turn it on. Is there anything I can do to fix this, like a master reset or something? Or if a part needs replacing, is this something someone who is comfortable repairing computers may be able to tackle?

swan34...Thank you for your quick reply. In fact, I was signing back in to update my problem. The SC 863 error is gone after one last attempt at a reboot, the system detected the front door wasn't fully closed, I closed it and it booted just fine. BUT....when we attempt to print or copy, the machine starts to act like it is going to copy or print, it even pulls a fresh sheet of paper out of the tray, but then beeps a few times and displays a new error..."Functional Problem with Machine. SC2322". The machine will makes noises like it is still working, but then if we wait for about 2 minutes, is processes the fresh sheet it took from the tray and just pushes it through the system with no printing. I double checked every door is closed nice and tight and even made sure the door magnets are clean. Is it still a bad hard drive?

Sorry, the new error is SC 322, not SC 2322.

Trying to replace toner in a savin 9922dp. install the toner cartridge, copier runs like it is loading the toner but then the error message to replace toner appears again (over and over)

take the toner out - whilst the green handle is up (this will get your hands dirty) feel inside for a left over cap from a previous toner. remove it and put your new toner in. this should sort it

Waste toner is almost full on Savin C9020

The bottom left portion of the display gave the error message:
Waste Toner Bottle 1 Almost Full. Please call service.

They were still able to print, however this message would not go away.

To Fix:

Power down the printer using the normal shutdown method.

Open the top front door.

Remove the cover directly below the 4 toner cartridges.

The removable cover below the toner cartridges is actually the Waste Toner Bottle.

Bring this to the dumpster.

There is a round, clear-plastic tab on the underside of the "bottle". Remove this.

Shake the bottle around over the dumpster. Continue until all the toner has been removed.

Push the clear plastic tab back in place. Wipe off all toner residue before putting it back into the printer.

Put the waste toner bottle back into place. Power on the Savin. Confirm the message no longer appears and that users are able to print.

Savin Copier 2020, IP functional error SC672

yes a 672 is an address book error. do you have scanner feature on this machine?. it may be bad. you may need a tech to come remove the option. turn the machine on and use it as a copier. then reinstall the option and see if the error returns. it could be a static build up or the option is bad.
