Alarm goes off every day. Want to turn it off!

An easier way would be to pull mains plug and remove the batteries for 5 minutes, reinsert, plug in and set the time.

Set multiple alarms. If any alarm is active,(picture of alarm hear) appears in time display A. Press MODE repeatedly until ALARM appears, followed by ALM1. Press STOP/RESET to select Alarm to set. B. Press SET/RECALL to set alarm. HOURS digits will flash. Press +/- to change HOURS. C. Press NEXT and +/- to set MINUTES, AM or PM (if primary time display is in 12-hour format), DAILY, WKDAYS, WKENDS, or day of the week (weekly alarm). D. Press DONE to exit. E. Press +/- to set different Alarm. Set as above. F. In Alarm mode, press START/SPLIT to turn Alarm ON or OFF. TIP: Alarms apply to selected Time Zone of watch display. I can't find the Timex T229B on the Timex support site. However, the T228B may be similar. To turn off the alarm completely, there is a switch on the left side that must be set to Off. The switch is labeled Alarm on one side and Radio on the other. In between are 4 positions - from front to back, Radio, Buzz, Off and On. When in the Off position the alarm indicator symbol will not be lit at the top left of the display (it looks a bit like a bell). The dimmer switch is in front of this Alarm/Radio switch on this side of the clock.

To turn off the alarm and reset it for the next day, press the Alarm Set/Reset button to the right of the hour and minute buttons. The Snooze button is the large button to the left of the hour and minute buttons.

1. press and hold the "set" button for two seconds.

2. Use the "advance" button to reach the correct hour.

3. Press the "mode" button, followed by the "advance" button to set the minutes on your Timex Ironman.

4. Repeat the procedure of pressing the "mode" and "advance" buttons to set the month, date, year and day of week.

5. When you are finished setting the time and date, press the "set" button to save.

Setting an Alarm

1. Begin by pressing the "mode" button until the alarm screen appears.

2. Press the "set" button and use the "advance" button to set the hour for your alarm.

3. Repeat the same procedure to set minutes and seconds for your alarm.

4. When you have finished setting the alarm, press the "set" button, followed by "advance" save and activate your alarm.

5. When you alarm sounds, you can deactivate it by pressing any button on the watch.

Press alarm set button, time display will blink. Then press off/reset button to toggle hourly beep on/off.

Press the Buzzer alarm button until its indicator on the LCD display goes out. This should defeat that alarm. For your interpretation:

When you set the alarm you pressed aburron that said 'radio' and/or 'buzzer' then programmed the time. Just press the buttons again and the alarm will no longer sound. Looking at the dial at the top of the lcd screen you will see the word buzzser or radfio if the alarm is enabled. Pressing buzzer or radio on the side will remove the word and no more alarm!!
