Where is the reset button for the flood switch

There is none.
You have to dry the base of the dishwasher housing where flood switch is located. Make sure the dishwasher is plugged off before you attempt any work on it.
Take the drawer out and use towels and hair dryer to dry the base under the drawer. The cause of the leak needs to be determined. Perhaps broken lid seal or leaky hoses.

Have an f1 error that comes up , says it is a flood switch doesn t seem to be any water in the area around the dishwasher. Any ideas?

The flood switch is at the base of the dishwasher housing under the bottom drawer.

Do you have the F1 fault displayed in both drawers? If so, or if you have single drawer, then turn power off and take the bottom drawer out. Dry the base with towels and use hair dryer on the small circuit board at the base.

Put everything back and turn power back on. The source of leak could be lid seal, kink in hose or ruptured hose.

If you have 2 drawer unit and the F1 error is in top drawer only then the bottom drawer has lost power. Could be due to thermal fuse blown on heater plate.

Hope this helps find the problem.

F1 code how to fix and re-set

Is this happening with both drawers or just one.

You have water leaking into the base of the dishwasher under the drawer.

Most likely the drawer seal is leaking.

The flood switch is located at the base of the dishwasher and this needs to be dried.

Turn power off and take the bottom drawer out. Dry base with towels and hair dryer. Turn power back on without putting the drawer back.

Run top drawer to see if any water is leaking.

Water leaks can be due to faulty seal or drain hoses cracked.

Hope you are able to fix it.

Our Fisher & Paykel single dish drawer unit (6 months old) is leaking limited water from its base down the front of bottom drawer below the unit's base onto the kitchen floor. One inspection by a...

One drawer leaks can cause this problem. If you don't fix it. One day it will turn on the pumps from both units without any one touching them since the floor sensor at the bottom housing detects water and it will run for ever until you unplug the power cord. This dishwasher is a state of art in design and replacing parts is very simple once a person has enough understanding of its mechanism. If the tech fail to find the problem then he is not qualified to touch this dishwasher. When there is a leak, it is a problem with the lid seal from the top not closing down tightly so during the wash cycle, water shoot up and leaks through the top opening then collecting on the bottom housing of each unit. Let say the top draw is leak, so the bottom housing of top draw if full of water then it overflows to the bottom drawer unit then the floor. Here is the idea of how it happens. The top lid is pulled down by 2 actuators from both sides at first start. That is why you can hear the motor noise turning on at the beginning of the wash cycle. That is the noise from the actuators. If the actuators are bad. only one side works then the lid can not be sealed properly there is a leak. If bothe of actuators are week the gear worn out so they can not hold the lid down during the wash cycle then it can cause a leak. You can pull each tube out and access from the left side at the bottom to touch the bottom housing to fell the wetness. Put in tower to dry them out. If there is a weteness from the bottom housing upper tube it doesn't mean the bottom drawers is leaking. It is wet just because the top is leaking. However you have to dry the bottom in order to continue use the bottom dryer. If you ignore my advice then your circuit board at the bottom housing of lower drawer will be damaged and it is not cheap. With the information that I provided you can interview a tech claiming know about the this type of dishwasher before letting him coming into your house. Good luck.

My tenants informed me that water was showing up on the floor in front of the refrigerator. I checked the back where the evaporator tray is and it was dry. When i looked inside the refrigerator I notices water pooled inside, under the plastic bottom drawer. Anybody have any idea what i should do? thanks.

Dish drawer leaks Fisher Paykel

When water accumulates in the bottom it triggers an error code and it keeps running. There is a water sensor in the bottom. I pull out the bottom drawer, mop up the water and use a hair dryer to dry the water (the more you mop up the less you need the hair dryer). Be careful to not get any of the plastic too hot. Kill the power before messing with the unit. The first time I did this it took 20 minutes to dry out. I have gotten more proficient and it take about 5 minutes now.

I had a water leak which was due to the rinse agent cap not being completely sealed. Water leaked out of a small hole in the front (I'm guessing an air vent but don't know for sure) and flooded the bottom.

I also had a leak due to having too tall a dish in the drawer and the top not sealing. I currently have a leak on the top drawer of unknown origin, but the bottom drawer still works.
Hope this helps.
