Question about Kenmore Elite HE3 Steam 8674 Dryer
When my dryer is spinning there is a grinding sound? what could it be?
It is more than likely the drum rollers that support the rear of the drum. The rollers are small wheels the guide and allow the drum to roll free when drying.
If you pull the dryer away from the wall and remove the back panel, you will see the rollers at the 4 and 8 o'clock position. Lift the drum a bit and see if they are loose or seized.
Good luck, let me know.
