Question about Samsung ML1740 Laser Printer
Our printer will not print envelopes or labels correctly. When the formatting appears on the computer screen it appears correctly for both labels or an envelope. However, when we hit "print," the label sheet comes out with the address on the wrong label(s) and the envelope comes out with only the right edge of the address on the left edge of the actual envelope. Sometimes only the last letters of the address show on the left edge of the envelope. It appears as if it's printing in the middle of an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper.
Go the "print" dialog and select "settings". Ensure that the paper size, margins and orientation are not set for 8.5x11. You did not mention the software you are using to print the envelopes/labels so this is the only guess I can give. I have seen software that made me have to override the settings before.
