Check carefully that you have specified it to use the # 10 and that the format does not include a wide margin. If that fails, try printing the Return address 'right justified' and see what happens.

What software are you printing from? It sounds more likely to be software causing the issue.

Printing in black mono only. A portion of the

Common problem is a dirty card, make sure you handle the cards by the edges and not the surface as oil from finger residue will cause a misprint on that part.

This problem can also be caused by improper or too low of a setting for black intensity, where the printer does not apply sufficient heat to transfer the color onto the card.

Also check for a faulty ribbon, if the ribbon is not properly stored or is more than 3 years old, it can also cause this issue.

Dulex printing???? for HL 2040

The way that I know to do it is to indicate that you are going to manual feed when printing. hit print
Then feed the paper into the manual feed slot, noting the correct direction in the diagram in the paper feed area. Once the first side prints then feed the paper through the manual feed slot, again following the directions in the diagram.

I have a Canon mx310 printer. I have read the book but can't find out if I can print on both sides of a piece of paper. If it can be done can you explain how Regards Ted gray

I just read the data on your model and it says nothing about two sided printing.
You can still print two sides of the paper with any printer. Save page 1 and page two sweperately. Either place one piece of paper into your printer or if it feeds for the front of the pile ,Just have it print side on. After that is done the the printed paper and place it back into the the front of the paper tray so that it will be the next one printed, then print side two . A slow poocess but sometimes worth it. (You may have to turn the paper around and or backwards for it to print on the correct side in the directing you desire, experiment).
