I hate it when a site charges for a service, but yet the service doesn't come. Where are all the experts?

Tried your service. Answers way off. Charged $12 and told I would get refund on next statement. Did not get refund. Original problem was 2000 FLHTCUI fuel problem. Three "experts" not even...

I'm sorry you didn't get the correct answers to your problem. As a so-called "expert" on this forum all I can do is give a "best guess" at what you have posted as your problem. Sometimes we don't have all the information that we need because we can't actually see or hear what the bike is doing. I do not have anything to do with the billing or refunding of charges. Please go to the bottom of the page and click on the "contact" link and send a note to that site. I hope this advice works better than previous advice your were given.

A solution to your problem would be to read how this site works.
I have posted ~4,800 solutions and have never asked for a penny. Sometimes I spend DAYS, on a single thread to help someone willing to follow directions to bring them to a successful conclusion.
This site does have paid 'expert' services but those seeking immediate help from those truly expert in their field are made aware of the cost and if that still doesn't solve their problem, the charged amount is refunded.

I cancelled my acct on May 8 2011 and received my confirmation code on the 9th which was also the last day of my free trial, the email said that the confirmation code (548ed22f) would be valide for two...

If you have already been charged for the service you don't want, try calling the site's customer support to explain your situation.

If you are referring to this website (as I infer from your stating "please refund my account"), then you need to speak with FixYa's customer support, not the experts as they are not directly affiliated with FixYa.

Why do i have to pay to talk to expert


When you have any problem regarding any device like phone, camera etc. and you use Fixya the Experts will help you to get your problem solved.
If you are satisfied with the assistance then the Expert will get the money paid by you and if not then you will get a refund of the money.

This is why you are charged to talk to Experts as Fixya is not a free website.

YOu can write to and ask for the refund request, you may be given refund but you may be charged for the Next chat...

No I have not. All I wanted is to find a suitable replacement for my Craftsman 25cc Gas Line weedwacker. If this can't been done, and let me know it can't be done. I don want any other brand. the model # of the one I had was 316-791890. Sears tried to give me a less inferior one. If you can't help, credit my card back.with the 9,95 I was charged

Megxon k1, battery doesn't hold charge, battery was replaced by service agent but problem still exists. keeps showing no power.bought camera from seller on ebay, cannot contact seller for warranty claim...

Wow, I really hate being the barrer of bad news.

It sounds like the copper conductors (you can see these on both the battery and if you shine a flashlight into the battery slot) arent, well, conducting.

This is pretty common but not exactly a fix it yourself option.

I was going to suggest that you go to the site and speak with one of the customer service reps, but oh wow, have you seen this site? It really looks like it was built by a 12 yr old trying to induce eplilleptic seizures. They have contact information (only a phone number in taiwain and an email), but I dont know how much help they will really be...

The fact that you bought this on ebay is what made me cringe. I hate Ebay sellers that purposely sell lemons. If it has been less than 30 days, you can usually file a complaint with ebay (on their website) and get a refund from the seller.

Yes, I am in Texas, just moved there from Michigan. Got away from the cold just in time. It's beautiful in Colorado, but just too cold for me.

I had no idea you had paid for a premium service. You contacted me thru the free forum. If you would like for me to get the payment for the premium service, you could contact fixya thru this email ( ) and tell her (Lauren) how you did not get the information you needed from the premium question you asked and would like that credit to go to me. She will know what to do about it. I really don't know how you would go about it. As it stands right now, you will end up paying whoever answered you first unless you gave somebody a FixYa! rating and accepted the solution. Unless you request a refund. Which is what you may need to do. I hate to see some other person get paid for my knowledge. This has happened to me on many occasions. I get contacted thru the free forum to solve a problem they have paid somebody else for. I don't spend a whole lot of time on the site, since almost everything I do on this site is free help.

In the premium questions you should not give anyone anything but a "Thanks for Trying" unless you are satisfied you have received the help you have paid for. I never seen a link to the premium question you paid for, so I never got a chance to answer you there. I am sure that some of the answers you were getting there were very amusing, to say the least. As I told you in my last post, I really am an expert in these receivers and I don't believe there is another expert here with the experience actually repairing them as I have. There is a decent bunch of folks working here, but many are not really the experts they claim to be. It can be a pretty frustrating activity using the premium service because there are so many so called "Experts" that are only in this for the money and try to answer questions they know nothing about. I hope it was not as bad for you as I have seen in many other cases.
