Question about Maytag MGR6772 Gemini Gas Kitchen Range
Even if the stove is off, the ignitors will click by itself and becomes annoying. I unplug the stove everytime it does this. By next morning, I plug the stove and seems to work just fine.
What can I do to prevent this from happening again? I'm afraid that it might ignite when no one is home. Could be dangerous. Please advise.
My experience with this is that it occurs when moisture gets into the ignitor area and shorts out the open and causes the spark. It stops after it drys out.
This is very non-techinical and I will defer if there is a deeper solution.
