Hi there.
Open the side panel on the computer case (make sure its turned off and the power cord is removed from the back) take out the system memory (ram), get a clean dry paintbrush and clean the brass contacts on the memory and also clean any dust away from the slots it goes into, once you are happy that all the dust has gone reseat the memory making sure its well seated and clipped into place, close the side panel, return the power cord and turn on the PC, hopefully this will sort the problem out.
Please post back with the results.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

Bumped front of my modem by accident and i lost connection....

I think that when u bumped, something went loose. Open up your computer and just make sure everything is seated properly. You RAM and your graphics card being the main things to check. Re-seat them if possible. That should take care of the problem.

Monitor not working

It may well be dead. Try testing the monitor on another working PC. Also try a working monitor on the problem PC. Then you will know whether it's the monitor or the PC graphics card that's faulty.

Computer moniter goes black but CPU is but not functioning

1. power-off your computer. unplug video and power cables. remove your video card hardware from its slot and plug it back in. put the video and power cables back. power on your computer. try this up to 3 times until your system is back to normal. it will be best if it works your first try. if it doesn't consider changing you video card.

Emachine shut down

No, it's just the USB ports that are still being powered.
Totally normal in most new computers. Same thing with the PS2 ports.
There are jumpers on the motherboard that can change this if you really want. It's designed like that to keep things like you have powered for when you do turn it on and need them.

My computer crashed and now the monitor goes into power save mode

You said that you hear a series of beeps, if you hear this kind of sounds maybe there is a loose connection from the CPU. Try to remove the Memory and put it back again.
