I had this problem on a Whirlpool fridge/freezer and solved the problem by replacing the temp sensor that lives inside the freezer near the coils. Here is the part you need (complete with picture)

Refigerator and freezer all of the sudden don't seem to keep cold enough

The back wall of your freezer covered with snow? If it is I would suggest you replace the heater and a thermistor - Heater: WR51X10101 Thermistor: WR55X10025. If no snow then it is probably the main pcb: WR55X10656

GE refrigerator won't keep cool

check the voltage going into you fan w/ the old main board and also w/ the new board. You might be getting a low voltage w/ your new board or the fan you replaced is for a diferent voltage. Have you tried to put the old fan back w/ the new board??

Gsl25jfpa bs fridge is warm on top and frozen on bottom and freezer is warm

It sounds like the fan in the freezer is not working , to circulate air , and the coldness is just dropping . This will cause the icemaker to stop working first , then the top portion of the refrig next . As this coldness drops , the lower portion of the fridge ( crispers ) , will freeze . The main control board , causes the fan , not to run . Part Number WR55X10656 . The main control board , is located , behind the refrig , behind an 8 " X 10 " , small panel . There is usually a burnt resistor on the board , which is connected to the fan . Unfortunantly , the whole board will need to be replaced . It is easily replaceable . Doesn't take any special knowledge . All the plugs 6 or 7 , each fit the pin plug designed for it .

Ge pss25mgnaww the refrigerator does not cool or freeze

You have a main control board problem . Pt # WR55X10656 . You can replace the board , or , remove the board , and on the backside , you can visibly see where a solder joint has become "unsoldered" . Resolder this one spot and reinstall the board . The board is located on the back of the fridge , behind an 8 X 10 panel . Be sure to disconnect power before attempting this .

Freezer is freezing OK. Refrigerator is not

I can tell you that if your model number PSS26MSRSS does not have a defrost timer. The most likely reason for freezing over of the evaporator coils will cause your fresh food section to appear warmer first are the defrost heater and thermostat. Defrost thermostat part number 332b542.jpg WR50X10068

WR51X10042 Defrost Heater

Evaporator coil freezing, replaced main control

It is possible you have a defective fan motor in the condenser area or evaporator area. Sometimes when they become defective they will run for a while and just warm up and stop while the compressor continues to run. I learned that one on four costly returns to the home. The cost was to me not the customer. Thanks, Sea Breeze

Fridge keeps freezing

Chances are, they replaced the wrong parts, or didn't replace all the parts, assuming they replaced an electric motor kit. I would need to know the P/N of the electric motor kit to confirm what was replaced.

Based on the fact that it froze the drinking water tank, and if they replaced the electric motor kit, the problem is more likely the temperature sensor or the control board.

Let me know what the P/N is of what they replaced and we can be more precise.
