Fan not working - DeLonghi TCH6590ER Ceramic Heater

Take it apart and swap the fans over.

If the none working fan still doesn't work, you need a new fan motor.

If the none working fan does work, you have a wiring issue.

Hi, If your radiator fan not working change fan switch. If you know where is the fan switch disconnect it and see if the fan work when you put car on. If not check the fusem, fan relay and fan power problem.

FAN NOT WORKING

It can be issue with faulty motor or its faulty fan control relay.

Bother are to be inspected.

Test volt at fan relay and fan motor.

is this the blower motor fan for you heating and A/C or the cooling fan cooling fans have a relay blower fans are fused but controlled from switches inside as well as fuses

mcdevito75 here, You say fan worked in the past, That tells me the fan has not run in over 1 month if so, try this. First, the fan motor is a sealed unit, without running the fan in over 1 month it may be a little stiuck, put the fan lights on, and pull the fan chain just once and turn the fan blades themselves just a little to get thm started. also verify fan switch itself is good, Chain switch should have the familiar click click to it. If not the fan swich could be bad.

Which fan is not working, A/C or Radiator? Check fuses, if good disconnect fan plug, direct wires from battery to fan to check fan, if fan does not work change. If fan works check water temp sensor for radiator. A/C fan only comes on when A/C is switch on. Like wise radiator fan only comes on when water reaches a certain temperature.

You have to check the main relay fan fuse relay and disconnect the fan and try it directly to make sure the fan motor is fine if all this is well into the cavity where the thermostat is a thermal switch that sends it relay the signal to the fan you can disconnect and the fan has to start working if this works the problem is you have the thermal switch. Thanks

Could be a loose wire up inside the fan. I would be very careful in its use. Might I suggest getting an electrician in to resolve this issue. You do not want to battle a fire over a fan light issue.

fan speed resistor block blown if fan works only on full speed (because power goes directly to fan on full speed, not through resistor)
if fan doesnt work on full speed check for power at fan on full speed with test light if power there fan faulty
no power check switch bank assembly
