Your answer is 384MB however I would not go more than 2X128MB ...You will not gain any overall system speed by adding ram faster than the bus, in fact your system MAY not run. What ram does, it increases the data transfer between the CPU and hard drive.

Motherboard upgrade


That computer uses a proprietary motherboard. Only that one or one from the same Gateway family will fit, and the power supply from an old PIII will not work with the newer systems. Don't waste your cash.

What i have as agp or pci and whats the best graphics card i can get without getting a new pc


An AGP video card would provide a better video performance than a PCI video card.
