Question about Frigidaire FRS26F4C Side by Side Refrigerator
The freezer on my Frigidaire model# FRS26F4CP0 keeps melting the ice, but then it will refreeze after a while. Could this be something to do with the auto defrost parts?
Please switch off your refrigerator for at least 8 hrs. than again switch it on. if your problem is not cured than it is sure that your refrigerator have the blower problem because for this reason only, the problem arrises ....... please visit your service authority...........have a nice day:-)

I understand that your Frigidaire refrigerator is building up ice on the back of the freezer. It sounds like a potential air leak causing condensation. You can test the gasket around your freezer using a one dollar bill. Place the bill between the freezer and close the door, then tug on the bill if you get some resistance then the gasket is good. If the bill slides out then you should change the gasket. If you continue to experience an issue with your freezer building ice I would recommend having a professional technician out to your home to proper diagnosis and repair.
