Question about Creative Labs ZEN V Plus MP3 Player
We have Windows XP, have a new Zen V. It works on his brother's computer, same set up as ours as of yesterday. We used the sync in Windows Media and also the Zen V Media Exployer on his computer. Player works fine. Why can we not get our computer to recognize? We've tried uninstalling, reinstalling - different ports on computer, turning off pop up blockers, etc. Thought it could be the trend virus program blocking? Help!

Have you tried updating the firmware of your Zen V Plus? I've had mine for almost an year and haven't had these issues -- I updated the firmware as soon as I unpacked it.
try downloading the MP3 player recovery tool from Creative's website (the tool contains the latest firmware update available -- 1.15.03). Plug your ZV+ into your PC, run the program and let it update the firmware. Then format, reload your music and try it.
By the way, before updating the firmware, let the battery have a full charge, ok?
