Question about Lexmark X8350 Print, Scan, Copy and Fax All-in-One Multifunction Printer Plus Photo w/USB Printer ...
I was printing some pictures on my Lexmark X8350 and once the pictures were done printing, it starting beeping and stating a paper jam. I kept pushing the cancel button and it finally stopped. When I went to turn it back on.......nothing. Power source is good from wall outlet to power cord. Have unplugged, let "cool off", still nothing. Any suggestions????
That's the same printer I have.
First, make sure the blue "copy" button is lit. Printing is done there.
Then, go to the circle with the checkmark in it and hit the menu, and arrow down to copy papy size and make sure it says "letter".
Click start on your computer, then click control panel, then printers, and make sure Lexmark 8300 series is the default printer and has a green checkmark in a circle.
If all these things are right, you should be able to print a test page and the computer should work fine.
If any one of them are wrong they must be corrected. If you need help on any one of those please write back.

Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the
back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.

4. Reboot your pc.
5. When your pc turns on, reconnect the printer.
