Lint trap doesn't sit right in dryer. It sticks up and clothes ge caught on edges., ripping clothes

Take the lint trap out, and look inside the slot where it goes. You will see a lot of built up lint which will have to be removed so you can slide the trap back down to the bottom.

Trapped dirt/lint sticks to clothes. does the unit need cleaning?

Washing machines usually have a lint catch. When they get full of lint, they will catch no more and may transfer lint back into the wash. On an upright, the lint catch is on top of the spindle and can be pulled straight up and off.

I dropped spray bottle lid into lint trap..was removing lint trap..and lint and bottle lid fell into lint do i get it out?

Can you see it? A trick I often use is to find some very sticky tape securely attached with the sticky side out on the end of a stick, and try to touch the lid with it and hopefully it will stick to the tape. On the plus side it probably won't do any harm just to leave it if you can't get it out.

Something (like a lolli-pop stick) got through the

If you can't get a vaccum hose through the lint trap and **** it out then you may have to remove the lint vent pipe in the rear. Reach up in there or try sucking it out with the vaccum. If no good then you may have to remove the rear panel and then do a good cleaning. Your vent duct maybe able to take apart finding the noise. At this point it maybe more trouble than it's worth.

I have a ball of lint stick in the lint trap under the screen. i tried to get it out with a piece of wood and i dropped it and cant get it out

The easiest way is to use a piece of mashing tape on a stick, with the tape wound sticky side out. Don't drop it!
