I have had the same problem. I bought a product called Dishwasher Magic at Lowes and ran it through one cycle. You may need to do this a second time.

How do I clean the residue from.the bottom of whirlpool dishwasher 10431031a

Use a dishwasher cleaning product and run the normal cycle without dishes or dishwasher tablets/powder. The dishwasher cleaning product will get in and around all of the pipework especially behind the scenes and breakdown the grease and lime scale build up. Depending on how often your dishwasher is used, you may have to repeat this every two weeks or once a month.

Hope this helps

My dishwasher is not cleaning well and not rinsing well. It's leaving a film on the dishes'

If there is not enough water, the dishes would not get cleaned. This could be caused by a partially closed water shut-off valve (located under the sink), or a faulty dishwasher water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side).

Also, There is usually two, sometimes three spray arms in a dishwasher. Make sure there is no debris blocking the holes inside each spray arm.

**Water temperature Note***

To get the best results, the water has to be at 120 degrees Fahrenheit when entering the dishwasher.

Concerning the Film.

This problem occurs due to excessive calcium build up inside the dishwasher. Try cleaning you dishwasher using a dishwasher cleaning agent. Try Dishwasher Magic. It is a very good cleaner.

Bottom water sprayer is not going round

Hello Joannekirk9,
I used to work at Miele in the technical services department. The most likely cause of your problem is the jets on the spray arm are clogged with soap build up or debris.
Solution - Try cleaning out the bottom spray arm jets with a toothpick and then running the dishwasher through a short cycle like normal or china crystal setting. You may also periodically do this with about 1 liter of vinegar to clean out the stainless steel tub once every 6 months to prolong the life of the dishwasher. The vinegar acts as a really good cleaning agent. Also, When using soap use 2 tablespoons of powder solution only!!! Oversudsing is the biggest problem I have seen with these dishwashers. If you are still having a problem contact Miele technical support. They are always extremely helpful. I also have a G832sci and has been great

What is F4 error on fisher paykel dishwasher?

Hi,
It means your filter is dirty. Remove metal plate at bottom & scrub with a toothbrush. Clean arms as well.
Clean all around the door & pull out the lift out filter, scrub clean with a toothbrush.

Dishwasher not cleaning

The dishwasher salt response is acceptable for Europeans, but U.S. dishwashers do not have a salt dispenser, nor is dishwasher salt sold in U.S. stores. U.S. consumers should descale their dishwasher using Dishwasher Magic, Lemi-Clean, Lime-A-Way, CLR, or vinegar until scale is removed from the machine, then add a rinse aid to the dispenser, which should prevent future problems. For very hard water, regular, periodic descaling treatments should be done. For the vinegar cleaning, place a full cup (8 oz) of vinegar in the top rack of the dishwasher. This way the vinegar is release throughout the wash cycles, performing a more thorough cleaning.
