Question about Lexmark Office Equipment & Supplies
Please I've being problem with Lexmark X644. I have queue in Windows 2000 SP4 and many XP workstation sharing this queue. When I use Confidential Print happen some mistakes in field's user name.
If I log with Pjose user in workstation in field's user name by confidential print resource by Lexmark driver PCL ou PS, apperance Psilva(other user), but I don't know why! I checked: queue permission and anybody have permission for change (include administrators), changed PCL driver for PS driver and blocked print in printer only for IP agreement.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

right click on the print driver , go down to properties click
click on ports
click configure port
click lpr in protocol
Lpr queue name PRINT
LPR byte counting enable
Try this and make sure your ip address is correct

Had this twice on an HP PS1000, went through a complete AV / Malware scan cycle last time without finding anything, this seems a more likely explanation as the last event coincided with losing connection to printer :

SOURCE: confidential on all pictures
I take it that the pictures you are trying to print are downloaded from the internet. The only way confidential would printed on the pictures is that the company that they were downloaded from wants you to pay for them so they insert that watermark. In this way you get to test them but they are not usable. The problem does not have anything to do with the printer.

SOURCE: remove from text
depending on the program you are using - you may need to go into the page setup section or footer section and either disable the footer or delete "confidential" from the footer section so that it doesn't print on your documents. Text in a header/footer will not display on the screen you are working on but will print on the final page.
