select the model no and download the required driver
now first you have to install chipset driver
later you need to install sound driver.
Here its some tricky
while installation is in process it will ask you to search for driver for newly found hardware, click cancel. It will again ask you for a couple of time every time you click cancel after the process is over restart your system and after booting it will again ask you for driver search for newly found hardware again click cancel.. now check your driver is installed and play any sound file......do reply back

I just tried to get to the HP site from 2 machines, and they both failed as well. I download drivers from this site regularly, so the problem is that the HP support website is down. I don't think this is a problem with your computer or browser - it's an HP website problem. Give it some time, usually big websites like this don't stay down for very long.
