Hi, very few modern monitors require a driver to be installed. If you're running a Windows OS, the built in monitor.inf driver that comes with the OS will support just about any monitor you can find. If you're having display issues or problems, you'll probably need to update your video card driver instead. What kind of computer/video card do you have. The more specific you are, the more we can help. What's the problem you're experiencing?

It is common problem with this model, poor/contaminated solder joints. It can cause the transistors to go out also. You must remove the old solder, clean the inductor leads real well and then resolder. I fixed close to hundred of this model. There was recalled by HP because of many failed units out there, but it is too old now.

I just changed my tower and now my hp pavilion is going to sleep

I assume you have already try with other PC with the same result. You may have bad solder joints on the four inductors in the inverter circuits. Service manual: http://www.eserviceinfo.com/downloadsm/40333/HP_F1703.html

Hp pavilion f1703 flashing orange monitor light what does this mean?

This usually means that it is not getting a video signal. Try checking the connections and make sure your video card is seated properly in the computer.
