Turn the phone off. Take the battery out then remove your sim card. Before reinstalling the battery hold the power on botton down for about 15 seconds. Replace the sim card then the battery and power the phone on. If this does not fix the problem and you can access the setup menu for the phone restore the setting to factor defaults. Good luck hope this works for you.

You need to replace touch pad. Parts cost around $25. Fairly easy to replace. Once you see it you will know how to replace, Go on ebay and put in lg vu touch screen and you should pull up parts for your phone. Or just google lg vu replacement touch.

If its not working properly you might have to align it but if its not working at all, it might have a bad digitizer and would need to be replaced. You can buy a digitizer for your lg vu on ebay for about $10-14

Touch screen doesn't work
You will need to replace the touch screen to get it to work. This is a common problem with the Lg VU
