- Camera opened with newly charged battery, lens cap left on, message displayed - re lens cap - same removed. switched off and on again, still displays same message and lens appears obstructed (top & bottom) but lens cap definitely off. - Same problem with the message "Lens Cap" on when I try to record. If I play back a tape, I can see the video fine. I've tried changing settings, but not sure.- AJD10

- Every time I try to use my cam corder it tells me to remove the lens cover and the lens cover is not on. Also the viewfinder is black.Thanks,
