Craftsman riding lawn mower won t cut grass

Does it die when you attempt to engage the cutting deck? If so the you might have a clogged fuel filter, bad gas, dirty air filter, bad spark plug.
Or the mower engage switch may be faulty. They are located in different places on different mowers. But should be attached somewhere along the main pivot of the engage lever. Let me know if you need more assistance. Good Luck!!

I cannot locate my manual; can you please tell me how to change the oil?

Simplest thing to do. Remove spark plug wire for safety. Remove oil filler plug. Tip mower to the side the filler neck is on with a bowl waiting on the ground next to the mower to catch the used oil. When empty, tip mower back upright and refill with 20 oz of 30 weight non-detergent oil. Put filler cap back in and check level. Replace spark plug wire. Thats it!
