The 12 pin connector is nearly the same as used on most desk top computers. I got an old power supply from a repair shop for nothing and cut off the power cable. I used and exacto knife to cut off the plug and it works perfectly. The color codes don't match, but the color code is on the circuit board cover. The black should be the top left and the red the lower left. The rest follow from that. Good luck...

ebay, walmart. i would go thru amazon.com tho you can select your car model and they will send you the wire harness you need that will literally be plug and play instead of having to cut wire and put them all together.
just make one dude its easy its the ending of wires of any harness just pull one out of a different wireing harness and push in that harness and wala yup that simple get back at me theses harnesses everywhere old stereo or buy one cheap on from walmart stereo dept.
You can find the wire harnesses (plugs) for your car or truck from most places that sell car stereos. Most auto parts stores like PepBoys, AutoZone, Advanced Auto parts will have them. You can also find them at large retail stores that have automotive departments like WalMart, Best Buy, and Sam's Club. They're car and truck specific, so you just need to find the wire harness that matches your vehicle.
You may very simply buy a power converter and hardwire this between the TV and any 12 Volt powersource. This way you will be able to turn off and on at your own will with no worries about power drain. The inverter may be purchased at wal-mart, target, or any audio sound store for that matter. Good luck
