Try to reset the breakers even if it doesn't look like it tripped.

I have a Sauter oven. When I try tuning it on nothing happens. No light,no fan,no heat. The clock display seems OK.I tried pressing the menu button several times.Nothing helps. What can be the solution?

I should suspect the fuse or circuit breaker that is supposed to power the oven if turned off.
It could be nothing more than a power surge from a lightning strike somewhere.
Find the electric box and check it out.
If the fuse or circuit breakers panel is good, remove the oven and check for current at the wiring that goes from the oven to the fuse/circuit breaker box.
If all that tests good, you have a problem with the oven control.
It may be "toasted". (No good)
God bless your efforts.

Just quit. Worked fine one day. Next day went to turn it on and nothing happened. Fan is little over a year old.

Control switch, circuit breaker, or loose wire are main suspect.
Rarely does a motor just stop working.

Check circuit breaker.
Open control switch and test for power and check for loose connections.
Install ordinary on-off switch and see if function resumes.
Check wire connections at fan.

First time using my air conditioner after winter. my "inside" fan will run but the outside unit is not starting. My weather king is approx 9 years old

Check fuses and circuit breakers to the outdoor unit. Fuses should be right next to the unit in a box on the side of the house. Easiest thing to do is replace them both. Circuit breakers are in you circuit breaker box. There will be two of them, probably 30 or 40 amp maybe 50 amp if a big house. Trip breakers all the way back and then all the way forward. Hope this works.

Check the wiring in the units junction box. Its located at the bottom right corner. You will likely find melted connectors. If so, you need to cut the wires back and replace these connectors. Make sure you turn the power off before doing any of this work of course. Good Luck.

Hello,
Something inside of the unit caused a direct short between the unit and that fuse box/panel. Usually a short that causes this much "fuss" is a dead compressor (worst case scenario). If there are no lights on at the thermostat then most likely the breaker for the furnace has tripped as well. There are 2 seperate circuits- one for the air conditioner and one for the furnace, they both tie back into the main electrical panel inside the house- wherever that is.
Hope this helps, James

Wont turn on

When you turn on the cooling, does the blower inside run? On the indoor unit, is it a air handler or a gas furnace?
If the indoor blower runs, then the eastiest thing to check is the A/C breaker and near the A/C there should be a disconnect box, usually has fuses located inside of it,,,,,turn off power at the breaker before opening the disconnect box, the fuses will have to be ohmed out, you can't tell anything just by looking at them.
What brand is the system?
On the thermostat, if you switch the fan to the "on " position, does the fan come on?
Please check this stuff out, and get back to me and we'll see if we can figure it out for you.
Sincerely,
Paul Gibson

Nothing happen when i turn on the corn popper, last time i used it which is last week, it was working very well.

When you say nothing, do you mean nothing? No lights, no indication of power etc? If that is so I would make sure that the plug it is in did not trip on Ground Fault. Most kitchens have GF plugs by law and they are very sensitive and trip very easily. If you are sure it has power are there any indicator lights? If not you will need to disassemble the unit because you have probably blown the thermal fuse. It is a small metal can inline with the power. Usually about 170 degrees celcius. Could be hotter. Rating is marked on the side. Check with a DMM for continuity and replace if necessary. If the fuse isn't bad then you either have a bad switch or a bad heating element. Unless the heating element is replaceable you will have to buy a new unit. Check all the components I mentioned and get back to me.
