You can't strip it? as long as the new speaker is the same as the old one, it will fit, if its anything else it very likely won't fit. What do you mean with strip it can you get the phone apart or?

take the phone apart as much as possible, take out the back cover, take out battery and sim card, unscrew all screws that you find and also look under soft objects and labels and other covers for screws.

ones all screws are out you will have to carefully snap the phone open there will be plastic holders in place on the sides of the player use a small flat screwdriver to do that. you will get the phone apart eventually if something doesn't snap open then double check for screws and hidden screws.

Wiring harness does not fit from my old deck to my new one

If you meant that you are changing the INDASH set with another model, the wiring harness will not match unless it the same model/make.
Now it is possible to source the harness which fits to some model but other wise you might need to manually STRIP the wires on the harness and connect from the given wires . Since all the connections are available it is only important that the leads are tested to be connected, the +B switched, + continuous, the Ground and then the speakers, front and rear. If amp is used then connected the switched power to the amp.

Hi, Ive just purchased a pair of Monacor SP-60/8 speaker units from Wilmslow audio. These have been supplied as direct replacements for the HB3 midrange units. However when I attempted to fit them ,they...

Thin rubber sealing strip tube (hollow in the centre thus compressible, lightly glued/ fixed into the rebate and screw the speaker in on top of it. It would have to be thin enough not to interfere with the speaker mechanics, even when it squashes. Maybe a window maker could source something like that? I dont think foam would be rigid enough which is why i suggested rubber.
If you haven't already ground off the corners I'd speak to the supplier with a view to getting the correct replacement, but then presumably you would have done that anyway.

hi ., it s not easy to get an encoder strip that actually fits with a dell printer .
in case the strip is in good condition , and only is hanging loose ..u can try to fit it with ur own hands . on either side .,

the model 926 is a very old printer , and so honestly ..the money he would want to spend buying a encoder strip ....u can actually get a new printer with new warranty +new carts + tech support ..

good luck .

Headphone jack must be moved around to get right speaker working

You will find that sound comes from the right side speaker only when it is bent at a certain point. By trial and error you can roughly locate the point. Then you can cut the wire at that point, cut 1 inch each from both ends, strip the cables, and connect the conductors. What has happened is, due to unusual bending, the conductors to the right-side speaker has damaged (broken). After roughly locating the place and removing 1 additional inch each, you will remove the wire section with the broken terminal. Now you can strip the wires and make the connections again. If you are not good at stripping and soldering wires, better to to take it to an electrician. (You need to take only the headphone pin and parts attached to it). This repair won't cost much. Good luck!

I am intstalling a new stereo into my mother inlwas 2005 hyundai accent. The problem I am running into is, after i accounted for the speaker wires, there are still 6 wires left: black, grey, blue, pink,...

Hello tinman3110,

Here's a link to ModifiedLife which shows the 2005 Hyundai Accent wiring chart. Some of the colors are duplicated, so for tapping and splicing, you will need to test to see which wire is which. For example, the chart shows "blue" for both external amp trigger and left rear speaker negative.

To avoid tapping into the car wiring, a better solution is to use a vehicle specific wiring harness. SonicElectronix sells the Scosche HYO3B which appears to fit the Hyundai Accent. Metra and others also make wiring harnesses and the Metra part number 70-7301 sold by www.installer.com appears to fit.

Hope this helps.

Speakers wont fit in car

Look at the old speakers to find out which cable is positive (+) and the other negative (-). Cut the connectors off one at a time, strip the wires, connect them to your new speakers. Negative to negative positive with positive then tape them good with black electrical tape. That's all! If the cables are to short connect more speaker wire.

Rear speakers in audi 1999 audi a4

You don't want to fit that - it's the factory amplifier for the rear speakers (the rears are amped, the fronts are not). You need to run new wires from the head unit back to the new rear speakers so that the speaker-level outputs from the new head unit are used to drive the new speakers.
