I have a Husqvarna 23hp 48" deck yard tractor. Fully charged battery, run it for about an hour, turn it off, go back less than 1 minute later and it needs to be charged again. Sometimes it will start but not engage the blades. It seems to be after I run it while cutting is when the discharge occurs. What is the problem?
It is in right, it seems that something is really draining the battery down. I am wondering if I have a short but I am not sure. I looked over the wiring diagram for this model and it is pretty simple. I'll do some looking this weekend again. It is in right, it seems that something is really draining the battery down. My lz6127 runs great until I engage the blade (free of any debris) and back fires and Boggs down the motor and wants to cut off. It started gradually loosing cutting power then to back fire When I disengage the blade it runs and drives very strong just like new up and down hill. Any advise??My lz6127 runs great until I engage the blade (free of any debris) and back fires and Boggs down the motor and wants to cut off. Yes you need to drain the oil, turn the engine onto its flywheel, remove all the crankcase screws, clean the exposed crank to remove any rust or dirt, now gentlty ease the base off, it should come away with the oil pump gear.
Make sure you have gas, oil, and a fully charged battery.
Sitting on seat, push the clutch/brake pedal down fully, make sure the mower PTO is in the "off position". Push throttle control to choke, or pull the choke handle, whichever set up you have, and then turn the key.
the air mixture carburetor screws have vibrated out causing this dilemma. you will need to readjust them or have it done by a qualified repair technician
It is likely that your transaxle just isn't up to the task. I suggest that you try to operate the machine on the hills prior to going on flat land. This is a huge problem with these machines.
YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE SOLENOID IT IS SHORTING OUT AS TO THE GAUGE THEY WILL NEVER MOVE AS THE GENERATOR CHARGES ONLY WHEN THE BATTERY HITS 9 VOLTS THEN IT ACTIVATES TO CHARGE BACK TO 12 VOLTS BUT IN SMALL INCREMENTS
check the fuek lines for hole and leaks, check the fuel filter and clean if necessary. remove the carbuerator and inspect the gasket; it should be soft and flexible, if it seems hard or brittle replace it. clean the carb with carb cleaner sray (available at any local auto parts store) and compressed air. make sure you get inside the small fuel rail holes.
