This is my daughters TV. The red ligh next to power button. Nothing happens when I press power. I think it used to turn blue. Can I fix. If not where do I take it. I live in Nashua NH

I have a Sony SRS BBE Trinitron (WEGA). The last few days when I tried to turn it on using the remote the Red Light would go on but the TV did not turn on. I would have to press the power button again to turn it on.. I tought the remote battery was just low.
Today when I tried to turn it on nothing is happening and the Red Light is blinking 9 times ??? I tried to unplug it and try it again, still does the same thing ???
take it to a repair shop and have then look at it. it may or may not be worth the cost of the repair. i dont know what the parts and labor would be on it
Hmmm,sounds like you may have damaged the remote or maybe the batteries have run down where you where laying on it,try a fresh set of batteries in the remote or failing that try adjusting the tv manually by getting a chair,standing on it and pressing the buttons on the tv,also try another feed from another source just to make sure it is not the sattelite at fault.
my AKAI tv is locked. All i see is a blus screen with a little red lock on the bottom left corner! the only button that works on the tv OR remote is the power button on the remote. PLEASE HELP i have tried pushing every button but nothing happens
This is the same problem I am having with my Speptre X20WG Naga Monitor.
The power LEDS are usually red in standby and blue in opp; but now they just go purple and nothing happens..no sound no picture. I called tech support and no dice they just wanted my money, but I think all we might have to do is change a fuse on the main pcb! As you can see the white arrow isnt really pointing to anything specific! I think the fuse is the lt blue component, but am not sure. This is all I can offer! If you gat any good tips or if anyone else finds a fix please email me [email protected].
