Bought this on ebay after mine died and cant get it to install comPletely. I can only get local internet and keeP getting a error message saying invalid username and Password

The B207 MP3 player sucks
I keep getting ERROR messages
I ran a MP3 cleanup program
MP3VAL and it helped but
I am still getting 'Reading'
and then ERROR and I also
tried another completely new B207
with the same results.
May I know the exact error message you got to when you install the device. Do you have the driver CD with you. What OS -Operating System you are using right now.
Did you set it up with the right information for the WAP? Another thing is that your SIM card should be able to send and receive GPRS data, if it doesn't, then you get the GPRS not subscribed message. I'm telling because the same thing happened to me, and I tried it with a friend of mine, and the internet worked.
Open NIS and run LiveUpdate. Keep re-running LiveUpdate until it says that there are no more updates. Reboot the system if prompted to do so (you may want to reboot even if it doesn't say it is required, just to be sure everything got replaced properly). Open NIS again, select Tasks and run a Full System Scan. The error message should not appear again.
Sounds like maybe the update wasn't as successful as it says it was.
Try the update again, and see if it completes.
I have an N95 and had a few problems with mine, I ended up sending mine back to Nokia for repair.
If your update wont complete, or start, get on the phone to the shop you bought it from because they'll liaise with Nokia. If you bought it elsewhere, get straight onto Nokia yourself here
if you ring up your service provider they will send you the setting by text message if this still dont work then they can talk you through the setting s manually but the text should set the phone up for you worked with mine hope this is some help
I guess you probably aint set-up a wireless router before, what you need to do is get it connected up so you revieve local area is connected then, load internet explorer you will recieve a message like page not displayed.
where you usually type in www.ebay.com for example type in the number thats on the bottom of the router ie it looks somthing like this 192.168.1.1 for example. a menu will then appear, fill in your broadband username details etc and you should be up and going, if you have problems feel free to email me,,
