Question about Husqvarna Lawn Tractor 48" Deck, 23 Hp, Model# Yth2348
I feel there is a part missing from the tentioning unit under the mower ,there is a rod coected to the backside of tentioning rollers, the rod points strait down and has a hole drilled in it for a keeper to go through ,but I don't know if this has a missing part or spring or something or if it is suppose to not have anything connected to it...The belt just keeps comeing off the pulleys and the mower is fairly new..
There is a bar that ties both of the hydrostatic drives together. It also serves as a support for the gears that lock the drives when the brakes are on. The bar is a structural member. When the bar is not tight the hydrostatic pumps are not aligned and the belt pops off!

I'm not sure just what it is you are looking at. If it is part of the drive pullled system, there are guides at each pulley that prevent the belt from coming off.
Below is a parts diagram web site, take a look and see if you can identify it.
