Question about LG Studioworks 563N 15" CRT Monitor
My system developed this problem a month ago. The problem is that color of the monitor is not the normal one. The red color percentage seems to be more. This totally affects the system monitor's look. The screen turns reddish in color. Sometimes this reddishess vanishes when the "Menu" button on the monitor is pressed. Sometimes it remains the same even when the "Menu" button is pressed. What can be done to make this problem set right?
Have you loaded the drivers which came with the monitor. This will probably allow you to change the settings.
Right click on an area of your desktop and choose properties. Look at the monitor and make sure the resolution is set to the recommended level possibily between 60 or 75 dependant on the model. Also you can get to the display card settings here and change them to suit. Dont get carried away or you can make it so that you cant see whats on the screen at all to be able to change it. Could also be that your monitor is faulty. Check with your manufacturer. It its an old telly type monitor maybe one of the "guns" have gone so you dont get the right colour mix of red green and blue. If this is the case you will need to get a new screen.
