Question about DHD NTX-2114 Car Audio Amplifier
Tire monitor, oil change...etc.. the reset gauges are all jacked into the factory radio so new radio is out. I would like to at least add some power to 4 ~ 10in @150watt subwoofer. Where can i get Wiring diagrams for factory installed - car stereo and how do i add an amp to it? please help, point me in a direction.
What car are you looking for the wiring diagram for?
A simple line level converter would convert an input signal to a factory speaker - into a useable Low Level RCA signal for your amplifier.
There is your signal - now all you'll need from behind the radio is the 12V Remote signal.
Send me your make/model/year, and i will tell you which wire to use.

Sorry - i didnt see 2003 Impala in the title - it got cut off.
The wire you are looking to tap into is the switched ignition wire.
This is a thick(er) pink wire located in the ignition harness under the steering wheel.
it will be just above the brake pedal behind the lower dash trim.
Your radio is data bus controlled so there are no wires to tap into behind it. Use T taps and tap into the rear speaker wires + and - for your line level adapter.
