Question about Bosch Nexxt 500 WFMC3301 Front Load Washer

1 Answer

Our Bosch Nexxt washer uses very hot water on all

Our Bosch Nexxt washer suddenly uses very hot water on all cycles, including cold and rinse. Sounds like an internal water heater issue, but I can't find any information and the nearest 'certified' repair shop/person is 50 miles away. Anyone have experience with this?

There is a mixing valve that uses a solenoid to open and close (and mix) the hot/cold inlet water based on your selection.
If you verify the correct model # I can point you in the right direction for a new valve if you are so inclined.

If your washer is the WFMC3301 as listed above...

There are seperate valves for hot and cold water.

The HOT Water solonoid may have failed in the open position...

    Or your controller has failed.

CLICK HERE for your replacement hot water valve.

The controller management board (not shown) is the last resort... and most expensive. It would probably save you money taking it or having a service call instead of blindly changing parts without testing properly first.

On the regular cycle for Bosch Nexxt 500 series, during the warm or hot cycle the washer interrupts the cycle with error code "E02" and stops washing . . . how can I fix this? I've made sure the door is...

If the unit is fed by both hot and cold it is possible that the single hot valve or one side of the double cold valve is not operating. Maybe a silly question but could one of the taps have been turned off inadvertently?
The other possibilty is that the pump filter or outlet hoses are blocked and the machine cannot empty the detergent water ready to refill with clean rinse water. To test the cold valve put the w/m on a cold wash cycle, open the drawer and check the water flow. To test the other part of the same valve, put the w/m on the rinse cycle that would take the softener or a wash cycle with prewash. Test hot valve by selecting the hottest cycle usually 90 or 95 degrees, check water flow thru drawer. Hope this helps.

Bosch Nexxt 500 WFMC3301UC Front Load Washer is leaking water somewhere inside the unit. It is only doing this from the hot water source. All connections are tight and there are no external leaks. The cold...

It sounds like it may be the hot water valve, the valve itself may be leaking or the water pressure from your hot supply may not be high enough to 'lock' the valve fully when not energized. The second problem could be rectified by using a 'y' piece splitter on you cold supply and running both valve on cold water,
Link to parts diagram valve is position 407.

Cloths are cold after final rinse cycle ...they use to be hot

The clothes should be cold after rinses, if they were hot before, then something was wrong.
Most washers do at least 3 cold water rinses, so they should be cold, this prevents creasing.
Hope this helps.

Check to see if hoses aren't reversed. Do you have an electronic temp-aaure on the unit as this could be bad as well. Also, check to make sure the valve is O'k as you could have a bad inlet valve assembly

Water not entering machine for rinse

if the right temp water enters the machine on other's most likely the timer...if you have trouble getting water into the machine, it's the water valves (they are actually electric solinoids) one for hot and one for cold)  also try another rinse setting on the dial.
