Hi I am Vortash depending on the type of bios chip you have installed ( and in their infinate wisdom computer companies used a number of different ones for the same model ?.. ) all you should have to do is remove the internal memory battery for 1/2 hour .Now this is not the main battery this one is situated under the keyboard and is about the size of a 50p piece if your in England or a Dollar Coin if in the USA lol this will erase the bios ( or should do ) when you handle it .. better you should wear some rubber gloves as this will prevent you discharging body static to some of the sensitive components and the battery ,and dont forget to take out the main battery also ... hope this helps Regards vortash
