Logitech Cordless Wave won't use Mac Keyboard Layout

I have a Logitech Cordless Wave/mouse bundle. I'm using Logitech softwate v 2.7.0 and Mac OS 10.5.7. In the system preferences, I have selected Keyboard layout = mac, however, the keyboard still functions as a pc keyboard.

I also cannot configure the mouse.

-   I have the Cordless Wave hooked up to my Mac Pro running 10.5.1 and some old version of LCC and its working perfectly, moved it over to the MacBook running 10.5.7 and LCC 2.70 and the option and command keys are annoyingly swapped -   annoyingprob
