You can download the latest bios releases from the Asus website for your motherboard and operating system. Install the update by flashing the bios. This can be done with a floppy disk or flash drive.
If your system will not boot...you will need clear and reset the CMOS back to default.
Hope this helps...good luck

ecblank.gif ecblank.gif Summary: Printer has displayed a "Fatal Error" message. This simply means a problem has occurred requiring you to take action. It does NOT mean that your printer has "died". ecblank.gif ecblank.gif ecblank.gif ecblank.gif
ecblank.gif ecblank.gif Your printer display or status monitor may read "Fatal Error". This simply means a problem has occurred requiring action to clear.
A "Fatal Error" does not mean your printer will "die". Fatal Error explanations are not usually found in the User's Guide or Handy Reference Guide.

RECOMMENDED NEXT STEP: First, try turning off your printer then turning it back on. If this does not clear the message or remedy the problem, check to see if your printer is on a power strip (or not plugged directly into the wall). For testing purposes, be sure the printer is plugged directly into the wall. Often, the issue is power-related.

Second, if the issue persists after this, write down the message (including the 3-digit error code number) and email us at "support@okidata.com" or call Oki Data Customer Support (1-800-654-3282) for assistance.

NOTE: If you see a series of letters and numbers(scrolling across the display) after the 3-digit error code, be sure to write these down also and report them when call or emailing Customer Support.

Have you checked the IBM website for BIOS and any firmware to download and update for the controller? It can get to be a maze with server cards.

Asus bios problem

Unless there is a compelling reason to update the bios it should be left alone. Apparently this is one reason for that sage advice.

Go back to asus, download an older version of the bios and install it. Fortunately you didn't end up unable to boot or you would be buying a new board.

Intel express bios update error

It sounds like you have a corrupt or wrong bios update version. If the bios update you are trying to flash is not to resolve a problem you are currently trying to overcome, it would be wise to leave it alone. Be careful or you may render your bios completely unusuable.

Asus bios problem

I sounds to me like u flashed the BIOS the wrong way with the wrong update. Try to go back to the old version 0609 ? and have www.drivers.com scan your cpu to find the right BIOS for you.
