Problem: cannot revert from Spanish text to English. G4 Mac

My daughters brother in-law converted her computer (G4mac) to output all the text in Spanish. When she went to revert back using the radial buttons she was unable to get it to go back to English text. What is the solution. I familiar with pc's but not with mac's. Can some one help. She does not have a manual , but I'm sure she could get some information on the internet, as i am doing.

Install gray disc 1, shut down, press and hold C to boot from disc, select install in English or whatever language you speak, go to the top and select utilities, select disc utility, select your hard drive on the left side of the screen select repair disc permissions, and let the laptop do it's thing. Then select repair disc and let the laptop do it's thing. Now quit, and restart from hard drive. See if that don't help you any old chap.

G4Mac will not revert From Spanish Text to English after trying some of the radial buttons in the Language section. Some one had changed the text for Spanish only.

Please go in the System Preferences (apple menu), click on International. In the languages menu, place your language at the top. You have then to close the window and log out, then get back to your session

My computer was using English heading now it has changed to a foriegn script looks like Chinese How can I get the English text back?

I believe this question has been ask before. I think is the same question, so I'll post my answer to you too:
Go to "apple" menu and go to system preferences, click on international ( the icon with the UN flag), from there you can change your preferable language. if english, Drag english all the way to the top of the list on the left. The list basically, means the other that your mac is going to select a language, if is not available for that particular one, it goes down the list. In the menu, order for sorted list, select english. on the last setting, word brake, leave it at standard.
I hope that was what you were referring to, if not, be a bit more specific. for example. are you referring to your mac in general or a specific program on your mac.
Otherwise, that should do the trick.

Laptop crashes (G4) often and boots up to an error message stating the date is before 2001. The date reverts back to 12/31/1969. Programs are out of wack as a result.

sounds like you have a power problem. Can your computer run on the battery? If you run it on the battery and pick it up and jiggle it, does it turn off. The reason the date is reverting to 1969 is because once the computer loses all it's power (battery and cord), it loses all information that requires power, which includes the date. I'm guessing that your power cord requires some tweaking to get it to turn on properly (light up) and that the battery is close to dead or doesn't have a great connection so it sometimes loses contact and your computer just clicks off.

Sansa clip 1gb mp3 player

You will have to fly blind a bit, but remember that the Spanish word for language is "idioma" and the Spanish word for English is "Ingles" - Here is a link to the user manual that will help you - Sansa does have a Spanish version of the manual if you want to compare. Eventually, you want to find this menu/setting:
Reset All
This will reset the player to its original factory settings.
1. Press Menu to return to the Main Menu.
2. Move to Reset All and select it.
3. Select Save to reset to factory settings or Cancel to stop.
