Question about Dell Latitude D600 Notebook
I have a Dell Latitude D600 Laptop. It had a very bad virus which couldn't be removed by any method except a total format of the Hard drive. Now while I'm re-installing windows xp home edition it gets to a certain point then toaly freezes. The Thing just goes dead. It's always when setup is copying files to the windows instalation folder. I've left it all day and it's just dead. What's up with this thing??
Even if u hav a tried a full format and the hard drive freezes then it is a bad sign..run a diagnostic of hdd by pressing F12 at restart.one good thing i want to tell u is tat even if the diagnostic test on the hdd passes,,then also u call up dell tech support and get ur hadd replaced,,because sooner or later u might face a problem with ur hadd again..keep me posted
