Question about Pioneer VSX-D308 Receiver
Please disconect all the speaker wires from the reciever and then check if it still displays the same Power off error message. Also check for there are no speaker wires shorted with each other(remeber shorts can also be internal). Also check no stray wires are touching the speaker wires. And if the speaker wires are fine and no internal shorts are found then its the audio amplifier IC which is faulty. You'll need to get the IC replaced with a new one to get the reciever working.
