Question about Acer AL1917 LCD Monitor
I checked the plugs, but looks like something got blown out.
I would like to try and fix this on my own (I am in Japan & Acer won't support it here). Would anyone tell me what to do & how to check?
Its best if you will just have it fixed by an expert. But if you have basic knowledge in electronics you can probably try to open up the back of the lcd and try to find some sort of fuse. Check if its blown. If there is a fuse and it looks good, your lcd probably has some sort of power supply unit problem. Usually blown capacitors causes this.
