My Eleura 65 is also stuck on maximum zoom, only pulling out when I manually fix it but then zooming as soon as my finger is off the button.

This happened last November and the problem stopped spontaneously, I have no idea why.

The problem resumed a month ago and doesn't seem likely to correct itself this time, at least not anytime soon.-   Guest

-   I have the Canon Elera 60 and it also continues to zoom in even when you do not touch the zoom button. I had contacted Canon to see if there is a recall but they stated there has not been many problems like this. Maybe if everyone who has this problem contacts Canon they will get the message. Let me know if there are any simple solutions. A local repair place stated it would be ~ $200.00 + to fix without them knowing for sure they could fix it.-   onthewater78

-   Same problem with the Canon Elura 65. It defaults to zoom all the way in. It will work if I hold the zoom button to capture a wider frame, but as soon as I take my finger off of the zoom button, it reverts to zooming all the way in.-   Guest
