I was having the same issue. When it switches to off by turning the earpiece it will flash a blue light 3 times. carefully place it in the case but do not press down. use the lid of the case to close it all the way. Mine at least seems to stay off. before I was pushing it into the case and it would come back on even in the closed position. hope that helps you.
Could be in Lock Mode. Don't know your controller type but VSI Profile LEDs will scroll from left to right when in a lock mode. Identify your controller and get lock/unlock instructions.

hi, check with the BIOS settings about the Primary and secondary hard disk. Select the bootable Hard disk as Primary by changing the Jumper settings. Make the other harddisk as secondary by changing the jumper setting as said on the label of harddisk. Now you try to boot, your problem will be solved.
