The TDA-03211c weighs 39.5 pounds; however, I'm not sure if that is with or without the base. The shipping weight of the TV is 50.3 pounds. Most wall mounts use the standard screen diagonal measurement to determine what size TV it will support. So the 32" is sufficient information for choosing a wall mount.
Each TV comes with one base, each base comes with a TV. The only way to get a replacement base would be to contact Toshiba and ask them directly for a replacement. For this to work, you'd need the model number of the tv. This can generally be found when you look at the back of the TV, it will have the label on a small sticker somewhere on the back.
Once you have the model number, try doing a quick search on Ebay. Someone may have an old base there that they no longer need, otherwise you're stuck with a wall mount or with contacting Toshiba.
First you should lay the unit face down on a blanket or the like, being careful NOT to damage the screen. I don't have one in front of me right now but if memory serves well, there is a plastic cover on the back side of the base that you can pop off giving you access to the base mounting screws. Remove the 4 screws and viola, the base should slide off.
There are a number of small silver phillips head screws atteching the base to the back of the set. Remove these and the base will come off. I would suggest that you replace the screws into the back of the set so they won't be lost. I assume you have purchased the proper mounting bracket. If you shop at Wal Mart, they carry two sizes. The 32" will require the largest size. This info applies to what I purchased, which was the 32" LCD flat panel wall mountable unit. I hope I have been some help.....timitot2
