Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Why I can't upgrade my psp1000 3.71 to 6.20?

The 3.71 firmware is a 3rd party custom firmware. 6.2 on the other hand is Sony's official firmware. Essentially it's like running Apple but wanting to upgrade to Windows 7, since you're running a different firmware, you won't be able to upgrade to the official 6.20.

I upgrade my psp in version 5.01, now i cant play my games

HELLO! There's no need to downgrade ur PSP. If u have upgraded ur PSP from the official site and a official firmware has been installed on to ur PSP, it won't execute games(ISO,CSO) from ur memory stick. It will only run games from the UMD. If u want to run ur games from a memory stick u have to install a CUSTOM FIRMWARE. Try www.psp-hacks.com these guys have many softwares on their site. Dont worry its not that hard to put a Custom firmware onto ur PSP.

XiaoFeiChong's Custom Firmware 5.02

If you want to upgrade, you must downgrade first. Any custom firmware upgrade cannot take place unless your PSP is firmware 1.5 or lower.

Chances are that you have a different firmware. If you want to get a custom firmware and downgrade, it is a very complex process that I do NOT recommend if you do not know what you are doing. It is very easy to ruin your PSP during the process. If you are still interested, research "Pandora's Battery" and other downgraders. It is a very long process too long to be explained here, and there are many guides online.

If you miraculously have a PSP that is firmware 1.5, I recommend getting firmware 5.00 m33-4 instead, as it is much more stable. Don't attempt anything unless you understand the consequences of possibly ruining your PSP.

Sorry if I scared you...

yeah, if your PSP is not Modded and it is running on official firmware of SONY, then you should prolly have it modded or have it made into custom firmware...If you don't know how to check the what firmware version your PSP is running...then here is how:
open your PSP, then on the XMB, got SYSTEM SETTINGS then to SYSTEM information. on the top it says SYSTEM SOFTWARE, then check if your firmware version has a m33 suffix...if it doesnt have an m33 at the end, then it is an OFFICIAL firmware so have it modded, my friend...
