Question about Maytag MES5752BAW / MES5752BAB Electric Kitchen Range
My mom-in-law had started to cook on our electric cooking range/stove,which I had bought apprx 2 years back from future shop. When the heating element got full hot, there was a sort of explosion in the element.what she found later, was that a small piece of the element broke off and exploded into air, making a hole in the pan placed on that element.Lucky enough for her,she escaped unhurt.Could you please suggest any possible reason that may have caused such a problem with the element. Thanks
Hi, There is no sure reason. This just happens. The element had a weak spot on it and finally gave way. Change the element and you should be fine. I hope this helps. Anything else I can assist you with, plesae let me know.
