I gotta a green screen

It is possible that you have a shorted green CRT, you can remove the front speaker cover, and you will fine a focus block, and if you turn down the green screen voltage, very slowly, the green should turn down. if not then the gun (CRT) will have to be replace, If it does turn down, then go into the menu and turn the color are the way down and that should give you a black and white picture. If it is not black and white. adjust the red, blue, and green screen voltages until you receive a good black and white picture. Turn slowly they are touchy, and if turn to high, you will get retrace lines and the TV will shut down.

Sony trinitron wega kv-36fs200 36' tv is missing green color

sounds like a major fault with the line output transformer/power board. if no green on screen, tube is on it's last legs. Advise to scrap, not to repair, cost in excess of £200

Green tint I can't seem to fix

Hopefully someone on here has a manual and can tell you exactly where the tint controls are. Also need to try adjusting the color level, turn it clear down so you have a black and white picture.
Is the picture still green over the screen with the color control
set clear down to black and white? If it does, you might
have an issue with the green gun going out or problem in the
circuitry to it.

By the way, the best way to adjust the picture settings on a
tv are to first turn the color control clear down, then adjust
brightness and contrast for best black and white picture, then
bring up the color level to where it should be and adjust the
tint for best red/green ratio.

Click click repeatedly faded then red blinking light

Go to the video menu and turn the color control to minimum. Determine if you have a black & white picture or is it green & white. If the picture is greenish, you have a problem in the screen circuit or possibly a bad picture tube. If the black & white is ok then I would suspect a problem in the chroma circuit such as a bad video jungle IC or a crystal. However, because your set had a red blinking issue prior to your existing condition I would lean towards the picture tube as the source or your troubles. You can try a simple test to determine if you have an intermittant short . Take the back off the set, and with the insulated end of your screw driver, very very lightly tap on the neck of the picture tube near the socket. If you see green flashes or hear loud snaps in conjunction with your taps or the green tint goes away, chances are the tube is the cause. If so, you might try installing an isolation transformer on the picture tube. Good luck

Green screen

No! that is difinitely not an easy fix. there is something wrong with the picture tube. it is the part that emits light and colors. you need to bring that to a local repair shop.

hope this helps.

Television has audio but a black screen

Bad technicians always say picture tube problem when the TV has black screen with sound. This a false statement and in some cases techniciacns use this to scare the owner or the charge a hefty amount. The truth is that picture tube outlast most component in the TV. If it will fail, it is gradual like the colors will fade or one or several color will be missing. This condition is the degration of the filament in the gun (CRT tv has three -Red, green , blue) I started to repair TV in the early 80's and only in one occasion that the Tube fail and it is a crack in the neck. For black screen with sound, the most common cause is the HV supply problem / Horizontal section. This can be caused by many things, like flyback transformer failure, horizontal outout transistor, horizontal drive, etc. For the cost-depends on where you are, in some countries labor is dirt cheap, in other ountries the parts are expensive.
