Question about Gateway (6000736) (4 MB) Graphic Card
I had a repair person summarize for me that the problem with my laptop is probably the graphic card, but they wanted a small fortune for fixing the problem. Is there a cheaper way to fix what appears to be a graphic card?
Not on a laptop, sorry. Laptop components are specific to that model laptop only in most cases and can't be changed with aftermarket components. The case of a laptop is also very difficult to open and put back together correctly compared to a desktop model.
Often it is cheaper to buy a new laptop than have one repaired.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:
Click "Start" and then "Control Panel."
Click "Appearance and Personalization."
Click the "Adjust screen resolution" link under the Display heading.
Click the "Advanced settings" link.
Click the "Adapter" tab. You will see the properties of your graphics card.
hope this helps
