Question about Blaupunkt PA4100 Car Audio Amplifier

Noise in amp/spreakers

I have a  Blaupunkt PA4100 amp that was installed new in my 1999 Dakota. From the beginning the system made a ticking/popping noise when I turned it on. The level of the noise did not change with volume adjustments. The noise started out fast, higher frequency, 15 or so clicks per second, and slowed down to one or two per second before quitting altogether.  The colder the unit was the longer it took for the clicking to stop. The unit was replaced by the store I bought it from and the new one had the same problem. Twin devices that look like capacitors were wired inline with the amp but had no effect. Any Idea what that was and how to fix it?  The amp has great sound and I want to use it in another system.

01 dodge dakota sport 4.7l replaced the passenger side head an used kerosene to clean the sludge wouldnt run right so i found that it was blowing engine fuses now its making a ticking noise whene i try to...

You replaced only one head-- why?

You had it reconditioned or installed a junk yard one?

Sludge is not good,it is a sign of neglect from day one,
when the vehicle left the assy plant

Can't guess at ticking noise from the internet

No idea how it sounded or ran before you took it apart

Blows what fuses & why?

I know your asking the questions, but you need to have wiring diagrams & ability to do some testing & should possibly have a friend with experience weigh in & offer some advice

2003 ford ranger ticking noise when truck is off

It is usually the heat shield on the exhaust system. When you drive your truck, the catalytic converter heats up to about 1000 degrees in order to work properly. The car manufacturers put heat shields over the converter to prevent grass from catching fire, because the shield is thinner and it cools faster. As it cools, it ticks and pops for at least an hour after you stop the engine.

The other option is there is a time bomb counting
