How to Make a Homemade Ninja Outfit
Most people will tell you to just use an old shirt or buy a cheap ninja outfit online. Well this article will tell you a different way. This is fairly authentic.

   Pick a color. Ninjas did not usually wear black (however, they did occasionally, so it you want to be a black ninja, it's ok). During the night, they wore colors like navy blue, brown, grey, and, sometimes black. Dark blue is good for moon-lit nights. Black is ok on cloudy nights, or nights when there is no moon (the moonless phase of the moon). During the day, greens, browns and greys are good. When it's snowy, white and light greys are good. (Don't wear white during the night, even if it is snowing. You will stand out.)

   Look for clothing of your chosen color in your closet and the closets of your family and friends. Go to your local general clothing store for the pieces you can't find. Try find the athletic clothing section for most of your pieces. Ninja were VERY active.

   Try to get a pair of loose, but not too baggy pants. Sweat pants are good. So are some yoga pants. Get pants that are not too thick/thin and are of comfortable size.

   Get a long-sleeve shirt. Read the tag, so make sure that the fabric type will be the right temperature. Think about weather it will be, night or day, and how active you will be.

   If you want your outfit to be a complete dark suit, you might want dark shoes. If you don't have a pair already, find a pair that is fairly lightweight and doesn't make a lot of sound when your walking. Try to get running style shoes, or if your really into it get a pair of barefoot running shoes. Or try being a barefoot ninja (beware of modern ground danger, like broken glass.)

   When you are dressing, try taking yarn, ribbon, strips of cloth, or thin rope of your color, and tie some around you knees and ankles. This lets your pants louse-er without catching on things.
